The Beaches at Guacalito de la Isla

Breathtaking beaches feature among the star attractions at Guacalito de la Isla. Manzanillo Beach, one of Nicaragua’s most exotic and diverse, lies along Guacalito’s northern coastline and is home to Manzanillo Beach Club, reserved exclusively for Guacalito de la Isla Residents and members of Club Guacalito. Manzanillo is blessed with light, powdery sand and clear, azure emerald waters. Bound by majestic cliffs shrouded in exuberant forest, its long, broad, graceful crescent extends for almost one mile and presents optimal conditions for surfing and beach sports. Take a leisurely stroll on the shore at dusk for a glimpse of glorious pacific sunsets in riotous shades of orange, pink, and purple--perfect moments for impromptu gatherings with family and friends.

A short five- to eight-minute drive within the property to the small cove of Guacalito Beach offers a totally protected environment of calmer waters that enable boat access as well as family fishing, swimming, snorkeling, and picnicking. Grab a kayak or canoe from the Club and launch out into the sheltered bay.  Chart a course for the island and relish a catered picnic on a private beach in the middle of nowhere. A bit further south along the shore brings you to the solemn and pristine sands of La Flor and Tamarindo. Those seeking seclusion or a private setting to take in a bit of nature and romance with family or that special loved one will find it here along Guacalito de la Isla’s farthest reaches.
